360 without the Camera!

Did you know you don’t actually need a 360º camera to take a 360º photo?

With apps like Google Street and Panorama 360º, you can take 360º photos without buying the expensive camera. Although they might not produce quality photos as a 360º picture taken on a dedicated 360ª camera, these apps are the next best thing for people who don’t want to shell out the cash for one. Even Facebook has caught on and allows people with both Apple and Android phones to turn their panorama photos into 360º photographs. Check it how YOU can easily create 360 photos with just an iPhone camera:

Google Street View:

You’ve all likely seen Google Street View pictures of your dream vacations taken by the mysterious Google Van. Now you can take these 360 Panoramas with the photosphere feature.
Open the street view app

  1. Open the Panorama 360 app
  2. Select the camera icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Hold your phone vertically and then move your screen around to capture a panorama
  4. Check out the capsule after stitching has been completed.

Panorama 360:

While it uses similar techniques to the kind used by Google Street View, Panorama 360 entirely focuses on providing users with a platform entirely dedicated to creating 360 photos out of a series of photos. Panorama 360 also allows you to upload your photos to directly Facebook!

  1. Open the Panorama 360 app
  2. Select the camera icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Hold your phone vertically and then move your screen around to capture a panorama
  4. Check out the capsule after stitching has been completed.

While it can be difficult to work around the high price of buying a 360 camera, these two apps make it just a little bit easier to enter the world of 360 photography. Just like they do for photography, Vresh helps to broaden the path of ordinary people towards 360 video.
